Three years on from Errol Dunkley’s You’ve Been Bad 12″, Reality Shock revisits another Errol Dunkley classic; “Keep The Pressure Down”. Originally released on Fe-Me-Time label in 1973, now with a fresh roots one drop style interpretation by Kris Kemist featuring keys played by Carlos Thunderclap (formerly of the Upper Cut Band). 40 years after voicing the original & Errol’s voice is as strong as ever, testament to a lifetime spent dedicated to his craft. Part 2 features a combination with another master of his craft, the legendary deejay Daddy Freddy, which was incidentally recorded in the same session as “You’ve Beed Bad”. On the flip side is a song entitled “First World Problem” by Solo Banton, his first Reality Shock vinyl release since his critically acclaimed 2012 album Higher Levels. Last but not least is the obligatory dub version mixed by Kris Kemist. Keep The Pressure Down 10″ will be available to order from all leading reggae vinyl outlets & in the usual MP3 stores late July.
