Dixie Peach was born in London & has been singing from the age of nine. In the early 80’s Dixie joined Young Lion Sound as a MC and selector, and eventually built his own sound system with his brother and friends called Killerwatt Sound, producing a special track for the sound called “Pure Worries”. A producer by name of Jah Tubby’s eventually released the track which went to No.11 in the english charts No.1 in Hong Kong, 1984. This then started the ball rolling, as it was not long before Dixie Peach had hits like “Spin Spin”, “Slaughter”, “Tonight is the night” & “Raggamuffin & Rambo” which went to No.1 here and charted world wide. Over the years Dixie has toured Europe & Japan as a solo artist and at times alongside Jah Tubbys Soundsystem. He has also appeared with the likes of Aswad, Errol Bellot, Deborah Glasgow (R.I.P) Johnny Clarke, Junior Delgado (R.I.P) Ronnie Davis & Mr Palmer (R.I.P) to name a few. In 2008 Dixie began working with Reality Shock, recording the song “I Believe” which featured on the album “Reality Shock Vol 1”, and more recently “Time like this” released on the Express Yourself Riddim EP.
