Aqua Livi was raised on music, and has been at the heart of the UK roots since the late 1970s. His first roots reggae band, ‘Urban Warrior’ was founded in the early 80s, and he has not looked back since. Urban Warrior were hugely successful on the live circuit and performed all over the world. Aqua’s vocal and lead guitar skills made him the natural front man for the band, later called The Roots I-mansion. Aqua also enjoyed extensive airplay from David Rodigan & Jah Shaka during the 80?s and 90?s, and was particularly known for songs like ‘His Foundation’, ‘Babylon Must Set Me Free’ & ‘Gather My Children’ still highly sought after by record collectors. Aqua Livi is now back on the scene, working amongst other projects, on an album with Kris Kemist entitled ‘Most High Calling’.
